Add the ColaApps APT repository

Set it up once, then install any Linux app with apt install <name>. The repository is signed: apt checks every index against the ColaApps key and refuses the repository if it does not match.

curl -fsSL -o /tmp/colaapps-archive-keyring.gpg \
     https://colaapps.com/repo/colaapps-archive-keyring.gpg &&
sudo install -D -m 0644 /tmp/colaapps-archive-keyring.gpg \
     /etc/apt/keyrings/colaapps-archive-keyring.gpg

sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/colaapps.list > /dev/null <<'EOF'
deb [signed-by=/etc/apt/keyrings/colaapps-archive-keyring.gpg] https://colaapps.com/repo stable main
EOF

sudo apt update

Needs curl (sudo apt install curl). Tested on Debian 12 and Ubuntu 20.04 / 24.04.

Added ColaApps before, with [trusted=yes]?

[trusted=yes] switches signature checking off. Run the block above again — it overwrites /etc/apt/sources.list.d/colaapps.list with the signed line, and is safe to repeat. Then make sure no other file still carries the old entry:

grep -rn colaapps /etc/apt/sources.list /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ 2>/dev/null

Only colaapps.list should appear, and it must not say trusted=yes.
